MUUDS is a library of website design. You can browse all of it without an account, and when you do, we keep nothing that says who you are. An account is for saving things and gathering them into collections; this page says what it keeps and why.
What we keep
- Your email address, to sign you in and to send the sign-in links you ask for.
- Your name, and your profile picture if you sign in with Google, as Google gives them. You can change the name on your account page.
- What you save: the sites, sections, moodboards and pictures you bookmark, and your collections. A collection is private until you share it; a shared one can be seen by anyone with its link.
- A sign-in cookie, which keeps you signed in. It is the only cookie MUUDS sets, it is needed for an account to work, and it is gone when you log out.
We count visits with Vercel Analytics and Ahrefs Web Analytics, which record which pages are viewed, where visitors come from and how fast pages load — without cookies and without anything that follows you to other sites. We do not show you ads, we do not sell or share your data, and sponsors on MUUDS learn nothing about you.
Who handles it for us
- Supabase stores your account and what you save, in Frankfurt, Germany.
- Vercel runs the website.
- Resend delivers the sign-in emails.
- Ahrefs counts visits, without cookies.
- Google, if you choose to sign in with Google, confirms who you are.
Each handles your data only to do that job for us.
Why
We use your data only to give you the account you asked for — that is the reason the law calls “performing a contract”. We never use it to profile you or to market to you.
How long
For as long as you have an account. Deleting it, from your account page, removes your email, name, saves and collections — shared ones included — at once and for good.
Your rights
You can ask to see what we hold about you, to correct it, to have it deleted, or to have a copy of it. Write to letstalk@muuds.design and we will answer within a month. If you are in the EU and unhappy with how we handled it, you can also complain to your data protection authority.
The sites in the library
MUUDS shows screenshots of public websites, with credit and a link to each. If one is yours and you would like it taken down, write to us and we will remove it.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. If the change matters to what we keep about you, we will tell you by email before it applies.
